2BV type water ring vacuum pump
The 2BV type water ring vacuum pump is suitable for extracting gas and water vapor, and the suction pressure can reach 33mbar absolute pressure (vacuum degree). When using transformer oil as the working fluid (called oil ring vacuum pump), the suction pressure can reach 6.7mbar absolute pressure (99.3% vacuum degree), which can replace reciprocating vacuum pumps. When the liquid ring vacuum pump operates for a long time under suction pressure close to vacuum, an cavitation protection tube should be connected to protect the pump and prevent cavitation noise. When used as a compressor, its pressure is as high as 0.26MPa (absolute pressure). When used as a compressor, the increase in exhaust pressure will cause an increase in the power of the 2BV pump. When ordering, the exhaust pressure should be specified to select the appropriate motor power.
As a new generation of energy-saving products, the 2BV type water ring vacuum pump will replace the same energy SK and 2SK series water ring vacuum pumps, as well as the W, WY, and WL series reciprocating vacuum pumps with its performance and many advantages.
The 2BV2 Ex and 2BV6 series water ring vacuum pumps/compressors are mainly used for extracting explosive gases and working in various flammable and explosive environments. Their performance parameters are the same as the corresponding models of the 2BV2 and 2BV5 series.
The 2BV series stainless steel vacuum pump can be used in various occasions with high requirements and high cleanliness requirements. According to the operating conditions, all flow components of the 2BV series stainless steel vacuum pump, including the pump body, pump cover, disc, and impeller, can be made of various stainless steel materials such as SUS304 (0Cr18Ni9), SUS316 (0Cr17Ni12Mo2), SUS316L (00Cr17Ni14Mo2), etc. The pump shaft material is 2Cr13 or 0Cr18Ni12Mo2Ti
The mechanical seal of the 2BV water ring vacuum pump adopts products, and the sealing components can be made of fluororubber or polytetrafluoroethylene.
Compared to similar domestic water ring vacuum pumps such as SK, 2SK, SZ, etc., it has the following characteristics:
·The coaxial direct connection design of the 2BV water ring vacuum pump saves space and is easy to install.
·The 2BV type water ring vacuum pump adopts mechanical seals as the standard configuration.
·All 2BV type water ring vacuum pumps are equipped with cavitation protection pipe interfaces. If working under pressure, opening the cavitation protection pipe interface (or connecting to the separator) can prevent cavitation noise and protect the pump while maximizing the suction effect.
·Aluminum bronze impeller, and improved the performance of the 2BV water ring vacuum pump. If the overcurrent components are made of stainless steel material, they can work in harsh environments.

The working principle of the 2BV type water ring vacuum pump:
The impeller 3 of the 2BV type water ring vacuum pump is eccentrically installed inside the pump body. When starting, a high amount of water is injected into the pump body. Therefore, when the impeller 3 rotates, the water is subjected to centrifugal force and forms a rotating water ring 1 on the inner wall of the pump body. The lower inner surface of the water ring is tangent to the wheel hub and rotates in the direction of the arrow. During the first half of the rotation, the inner surface of the water ring of the 2BV type water ring vacuum pump gradually separates from the wheel hub. Therefore, a closed space is formed between the impeller blades and the water ring. As the impeller rotates, the space gradually expands, the gas pressure in the space decreases, and the gas is sucked in from the suction port of the disc; During the second half of the rotation, the inner surface of the water ring gradually approaches the hub, and the space between the blades gradually shrinks. The gas pressure in the space increases, and when it is higher than the pressure at the exhaust port, the gas between the blades is discharged from the disc exhaust port. In this way, every time the impeller rotates, the space between the blades is sucked and discharged once, and many spaces work non-stop. The 2BV type water ring vacuum pump continuously sucks or presses gas.
The 2BV type water ring vacuum pump generates heat during operation, which causes the working water ring to heat up. At the same time, some water and gas are discharged together. Therefore, during operation, the pump is continuously supplied with water to cool and replenish the water consumed inside the pump, meeting the working requirements of the pump.
When the gas discharged by the 2BV type water ring vacuum pump is no longer used, a gas water separator is connected to the exhaust port of the 2BV type water ring vacuum pump. After the waste gas and some of the water carried are discharged into the gas water separator, the gas and water are separated, and the gas is discharged through the exhaust pipe. The remaining water is supplied to the pump through the return pipe for continued use. With the extension of working hours, the temperature of the working water will continue to rise. At this time, cold water needs to be supplied from the water supply pipe to reduce the temperature of the working water, and the pump can meet the required technical requirements and performance indicators.
The 2BV type water ring vacuum pump and compressor system consists of a vacuum pump (compressor), an electric motor, and an air water separator pipeline.
The working process of the 2BV type water ring vacuum pump and compressor with the gas-water separator is as follows: gas enters the 2BV vacuum pump or compressor through a valve in a pipeline, then enters the gas-water separator through an exhaust pipe, and is discharged through the exhaust pipe of the gas-water separator. When used as a compressor, the gas-water mixture discharged by the compressor is separated in the gas-water separator, and the gas is transported to the system that needs to be compressed through a valve. The working water in the 2BV type water ring vacuum pump or compressor is discharged from the gas water separator without cooling to the vacuum pump for reuse, and the remaining working water is replenished by the water supply pipe. The size of the water supply is adjusted by the valve on the water supply pipe.
The only difference between gas suction and pressure delivery systems is the internal structure of the gas-water separator. When aspirating gas, the pressure at the suction port is lower than atmospheric pressure, while the pressure at the exhaust port is equal to atmospheric pressure. The gas-water separator has an overflow pipe; When compressing gas, the suction port is at normal pressure (or in a vacuum state), and the pressure at the exhaust port is higher than one atmospheric pressure, which is the pressure for transporting gas. The water level of the gas-water separator is controlled by the overflow switch.
