KCG high-temperature gear oil pump
KCG high-temperature gear oil pump, also known as oil pump, is widely used in various industries such as plastic and rubber processing industry, textile printing and dyeing industry, coating industry, wood processing industry, food industry, paper printing and other liquid heat carriers, as well as heating and transmission of heating carriers.
Overview of KCG High Temperature Gear Oil Pump: When a pair of gears engage in transmission within the pump body, the pressure in the front space of the meshing area decreases and a local vacuum is generated. The oil in the oil pool enters the inlet of the low pressure area of the high temperature gear oil pump under the action of atmospheric pressure. As the gears drive, the oil in the tooth groove is continuously carried in the direction of the arrow to the outlet at the back to release the oil pressure, thereby increasing the oil pressure and sending it to the parts that need lubrication in the machine. The driving gear is connected to the power (such as an electric motor) through a pulley at the end of the shaft. In order to prevent oil from seeping out along the driving gear shaft, a sealing device is composed of sealing packing, packing gland, and screws.
The KCG high-temperature gear oil pump mainly consists of gears, shafts, pump bodies, protective valves, and shaft end seals (magnetic drive and zero leakage structure can be selected as required). The gears have high hardness and strength after heat treatment, and are installed together with the shaft in a replaceable shaft sleeve for operation. The lubrication of all parts inside the oil pump is automatically achieved by using the conveying medium during pump operation. There are oil discharge and return grooves inside the pump, which reduce the torque force borne by the gears during operation, resulting in low bearing load and wear, which affects the pump.
The KCG high-temperature oil pump is equipped with a protective valve as overload protection. The total reflux pressure of the protective valve is 1.5 times the rated discharge pressure of the pump, and can also be adjusted according to actual needs within the allowable discharge pressure range. However, please note that this protective valve cannot be used as a pressure reducing valve for long-term operation. If necessary, it can be installed separately on the pipeline. From the extended end of the spindle towards the pump, it rotates clockwise. The high-temperature oil pump is made entirely of cast steel material, and the sealing is done with packing, allowing the pump to withstand 350oC.
The common faults and countermeasures of KCG high-temperature gear oil pump are as follows:
(1) Fault phenomenon:
Reason for oil pump failure to discharge:
a. Rotate in the opposite direction;
b. Close the suction or discharge valve;
c. There is no material at the inlet or the pressure is too low;
d. The viscosity is too high, and the pump cannot bite the material
Countermeasures:
a. Confirm the direction of rotation;
b. Confirm whether the valve is closed;
c. Check valves and pressure gauges;
d. Check the viscosity of the liquid and check if there is a flow rate proportional to the rotational speed when running at low speed. If there is a flow rate, it indicates insufficient flow.
(2) Fault phenomenon:
Insufficient pump flow
Cause of malfunction:
a. Close the suction or discharge valve;
b. Low inlet pressure;
c. Blocked outlet pipeline;
d. Leakage of packing box;
e. Speed too low
Countermeasures:
a. Confirm whether the valve is closed;
b. Check if the valve is open;
c. Confirm whether the discharge volume is normal;
d. Tighten; When a large amount of leakage affects production, the operation should be stopped and disassembled for inspection;
e. Check the actual speed of the pump shaft;
